Festival Records was an American record company founded in 1961 by Herb Abramson after his Blaze Records label folded. It was distributed by King Records.〔http://books.google.com/books?id=GSEEAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA4&dq=%22festival+records%22+%2B+abramson&hl=en&ei=bqf5TKfPA4HCsAPJ6qC5CA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=2&sqi=2&ved=0CCsQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=%22festival%20records%22%20%2B%20abramson&f=false〕 The label released six singles and one album before it folded in 1962.
